I have a 2008 sportsman 800 i am thinking about getting some new tires soon, i have the stock rims and i am not planning on buying new rims. what is the biggest tire i can put on those and wich is the best tire, i will be using it for plowing, riding in snow, mud, and some harder terrain, which is the best tire.

I like the 589s, good all around tire. I think 26x9x12 front and 26x11x12 rears would fit. They are heavy, but so are all the rest.

 

ca i put 27 inch tires on it or wouldnt they fit

 

highth isnt an issue w/ putting tires on the stock rims. its the front rims w/ wider then 8" tires as they will rub up front w/out putting wheel spacers or aftermarket rims. i think 9" wide will fit but is very tight.
