Default Front Diff Oil

Had my 04 600 inside putting the tracks on the past few days so I got to wondering about the diffs and tranny as well. (I normally do the oil spring and fall when the tracks go on and off) Except for some oil leakage around rocker cover there has been no signs of leakage but I pulled the other plugs as well. Everything was low.....Waynes is closed Sun and Monday so I stopped at the local Bomb and Canam dealer as I heard that the Bomb also has a Hilliard front diff. Their parts man had never heard of anything called Hilliard and assured me that they use regular synthetic gear oil in ALL the gearboxes on ALL the machines they service. Scary...Gonna go see Chrystine ASAP.

When we first moved here WW was open 7 days a week. Great when you needed parts on Sunday afternoon. I've seen the shop crew work til 10pm Xmas eve to get a customers bike out.

Default Front Diff Oil

Just another update, I picked up my new front diff today and will put it in this week sometime. And I got a message from a Hilliard employee (who will remain nameless) and with a few pictures being swapped and a few phone calls I'm hoping we can get to the bottom of this!! I'm really impressed that a Hilliard employee is willing to take the time to follow up on problems with their products!! Now if only Polaris would call and offer me a new 850 XP for my troubles LOL
