Thanks Sheep, but I think I got it...Drain Plug (left side). Am I correct on this?



Through front wheel well - Battery - Oil Screen - Oil Tank (right side)



Same picture above different angle - coolant resovoitr is in the midle top of the oil tank and battery.

Maybe someone can make sence of these pictures.

 

One more. Coolant resovoir is at the back top between the oil tank and battery.

Thanks for the PM I checked out the oil change segment on the link you provided. There is no mention in my owners manual about draining the engine oil from the second drain plug in the engine. I have to get a service manual. I am definetly holding back on changing the oil until I find out the proper procedure. Thanks again about the link. I also picked up a tid bit about using used motor oil on the new oil filter gasket.

Now lets play find Waldo the second drain plug. Anyone have pics...Its late so I can't go out and play search and find...

 

Okay, I'm going to stop at the dealership tomorrow and check things out for myself. It definitely looks from the pictures that the battery is in the way of the oil screen fitting.

I'll reply tomorrow with what I find out.

 

I have another question. does the Outlaw 90 have two oil drain points (1 -oil tank and 2-engine) like the X2?

 

I try and check that while I'm there.

 

The dealership had short hours today, by the time I got there they were closed. I'll stop there on 1-2-2008.
