Default Keeping plastic looking good

Heres a tip that I did on the 08 Stealth

After seeing what my 05 Black looked like after a couple rides I dident want it to happen to the stealth
So I ordered some vinyl film,
It's a sticky back sign material that is used to design and letter cars and trucks
In my case I got the Matte Black,,, Perfect match.
I cut the pieces to fit on High wear spots, Pretty much everywhere except the Pod

It's been on a month and is working out great,I believe that it actually takes a beating better then the plastics.
The reason I did this was because the plastics get so scratched up,it's bad on resale.

A 2' X 10' roll cost $10, and there are hundreds of colors and I can probably do 2.5 - 3 bikes with what I have.
E-Bays a good place to find what you want, search vinyl & sign film or sign making supplies

The best way to keep the plastic like new is........

Park the Quad out of the sun in the Garage and "DON"T ever use it!!!!!!!!..That works great!!!!
You can start the Quad up once and awhile......But never ride it...Not even in the driveway.!!!!!

This keeps the Plastic in new condition!!!!!......Caper............
