How to check all wheel drive

Default How to check all wheel drive

Hello all, Ive owned a 00 expetion 425 for a while, It does not feel like all wheels are spinning..not sure if its the switch on the handle, is there a way to jump it??or another way to test this.

you sshould be able to tell eay enough if the front wheels arent working by putting it in reverse and backing up fast to make tires spin and watch to see if the front wheels kicked in w/ it in awd and the override pushed in. doesnt the switch have a light that lights up to show your in awd?

Jack or lift the rear wheels off the ground and see if the fronts will pull it foward.

For under $100 you can invest in a motorcycle/atv jack. I have one and it comes in very handy in alot of different ways.

Very easy to check if there is snow where you are!!!!!.........Caper..........

Default How to check all wheel drive

Put the ATV on a milk crate or something similar so all four wheels are off the ground. With it in AWD, when the rear wheels start to spin the fronts should spin also.
