Thanks for all the input. After a whole loit of looking and listening I bought an 08 painted blue 500. When we got down to it the 07's were only a couple hundred bucks cheaper and I think the paint will look better over time. I bought it at Van's Yamaha in Sparta.

 

i Bought mine from car coral could not be happier i got the 500 deluxe because it has engine bracking the 700 does not so it will freewheel down hills atleast this is what they told me i got mine for 5999.00 out the door it was 6300.00 it also has ADC wich i love it only engages if you are going under10mph and are in 4x4 mode the engine bracking is awesome and the 700 dont have it plus the 500 has plenty of power i tore a grizz 660 up the first night i bought it.

 

AT first I thought I wanted an 07, but gain price wasn't really much cheaper. I did talk to Car Corral and they seemed super nice and were about the same price as Vanns, but they were 70 miles east of me compared to Vanns at Sparta being about 30 to the south. I gave $6300 out the door, but before I did that I added the rear bumper body armor and the rear rack extension so I wound up a bit over $6400. STill thinking about a windshield, but not sure. I wasn't that interested in a winch or I probably would have bought an 07 DLX which I had priced at Waterloo for about $6300 as well. The 08 painted come with alum wheels which was the one for sure I wanted.
