What Did You Pay For Your Sportsman 450 ??

I spoke with a guy selling his 07 Sportsman 450HO with170 miles for 4500$, I am going to look at it this weekend.

I was really shopping for a 500/700 but for the price I don't think I can go wrong ??

Should I hold out for a 500/700, (I'm not in a big hurry).


What do you guy's think ?

Seems like a good price. Sold my 2003 sp 600 with 1300 miles for 4200 here in MN. I would check the machine over good. hope this helps.

Sounds about correct, out of the box I paid around 5700$ (out the door)...but that was this last summer I wld think price may have come down, check dealer first see if they have any left over 07s never know cld get one out of the box for close to that, prob not but worth a check see.. That is all I got!

Does it have a winch? plow? rack bags? hand/thumb warmers? etc.... Do you have pay sales tax??
Sounds like a solid deal. I don't know what the power difference is between a 450 & the 500. Anybody out there ridden them side by side????

Don't settle if you REALLY want a 500/700, then wait & buy one. I bought a 2004 Rancher because of the price instead of buying an SP 700. Kicked myself everytime I rode it. Sold it after 8 months & bought my 700.

07 Sportsman 450 H.O. ...................Never heard of one!!!!!!....Don't make a 2007 Sp 450 H.O.

mine didnt include a winch or any accessories. and yes I paid tax but dont remember how much................. 8% whatever comes to (to tired to think ) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] They had a bunch in stock and wanted to sell em before the 07's came out. And my only color choice was yellow or yellow and oh yeh they had one in yellow too

they made the sp 450 for 06&07' i sold our 06' for $4600. so thats a good price w/ that many miles. its no where near the power of a 700 just to let you know.

I assumed it was a HO because it wasn't EFI, my mistake gentlemen not false advertising. I was told that it's bone-stock (NO GOODIES) and he's firm on 4500$, even though the ad say's OBO..

I checked out Ebay and watched the same bike with 500ish miles on it go for 3800ish $$'s ....


I would buy it if I got a deal, but I won't push the issue. I don't wan't to see the guy get hurt #1, but it sure wasn't a very good decision to buy if he's in trouble this quickly....

I'll buy it for 4k as is if offered ...
