ok i got a polaris scrambler 500 4x4, the 4x4 does not work, speedomteter does not work, all electrical stuff does not work with out good battery put in new battery then headlights work and that is it....the 4x4 and speedo wont work and battery goes down with lights on after awhile...

i have a shop manual but its kinda confusing i tested the yellow and yellow/red stator wires that connect to the voltage regulator and it tests .6 my book say should be .13 does this mean stator could be bad because i hook up my tester on AC Volts and the yellow wire test 13-14.9 volts before the regulator, the yellow red wire only tested like 1-3 volts, and when hook red and black tester wires on both yellow yellow/red wires its around 16.5-19 volts
is the yellow red one suppose to test higher than 1-3???

also testing the output on the voltage regulator is only 1.3-3 volts on the brown i think so i know the regulator is bad but do you guys think the STATOR could be bad

PLEASE PUT REPLIES NEED HELP DONT WANT TO STICK NEW PARTS IN IF I DONT NEED THEM..
