Regular Sportsman 800 and 500 have the tiny 4.1 gallon tanks. they use to have a 5.25 than it shrunk to 4.75 than 4.25 now its a 4.1. The strategy is Polaris wants to be the cheapest and quickest ATV to fill up with gas, I guess. LOL
Arctic Cat has a large 6.7 gallon tank even on there little 400cc ATVs so its not like its not possible to fit bigger tanks.
