2007 Polaris Sportsman 2x 500 H.O. EFI
Not sure if this is the same issue. But somebody may find it useful.
My brother's '06 500 developed a similar problem last week. We found that the MAP sensor came loose. The clip holding it down seems a little flimsy and the two scew holes on the sensor do not line up with the holes on the engine. We bent the clip to provide more pressure and it cured the problem.
