Front compartment Water tight?

Default Front compartment Water tight?

Hey guys i was wondering how water tight the front compartments are on the 08 800's?

everytime i wash it down or water splashes up over it while im going through a creek water gets in it. seems like more than my 05 700 did.

mine does not get water in it from splashing on when riding but when I spray the quad with a hose to wash it, water gets in

same as blacksheep5. before i wash mine off I pop those drain plugs out then put them back in afterwards.

Mine is about as waterproof as a screen. But mine is an 05.

hes pretty close on how good they repel water for sure. w/ the older ones it was even worse. i would say put your stuff in a water prrof bag, its what we do now after soaking everything.

If you hit the water at any high rate of speed.....other than "SLOW"............that's when the plugs get forced out in my......And water gets in..............Other than that it's pretty good!!....(2006 SP 450).......Caper..........

On my machine the rear tool box is even worse.......

My rear one seems to be great compared to the front one so far. had the *** end buried in a creek to the rack and the rear compartment was super dry

My front has been great. I've only had a couple drops of water in it. And that was when housing it off.
