I have a 2006 sportsman 90 it will idle fine but as soon as you give half to full thottle it starts to backfire and the oil light will start blinking ive checked carbs and changed plug but still does it???

any suggestions will great

 

i don't know, mine never had that problem, well it's had alot of problems, um check the choke maybe, if i were u don't worry about the light, if u know u have oil, don't worry about it, because the oil checker thing sucks. this may seem off the subject, but make sure that the bolts connecting your tailpipe are really tight, mine just kept comming off, and one broke inside the head and it took alot of money to fix, just to help keep u out of problems, right know my 90 sportsman is a lemon, and will probably stay that way forever. sorry if this didn't help your problem.
