Default suspention problems??

that front strut might not leak anything out untill you turn it upside down.... i don't think these are filled with nitro... i just did one on a car last weekend and it was broke so bad it wouldent compress... the center shaft pulled out so far that it almost came out of the strut housing....
ps. the front has MacPherson Struts

Default suspention problems??

alright, so today i put it on a jack and everything started to rebound really slowly. and when i put the jack down it compleatly compressed again i did it a few more times and finally got it to stay up than i put some weight on the front and it went down again. i kept doing that and finally got it to come back up when i jumped on the front but it went up and down really slow. so i road it a little and when the suspention commpresed it stayed down until i gave it some time to rebound. if you ask me it sounds like something froze in side of it. i drive in lots of mud, snow, and water. could any of that got inside of it and screwed it up a little???

thanks

how cold is it theree it maby could be water in the a arm or something put heat on it melt it all thenpump new grease in it maby you will se water come out keep pumping untill new grease comes out. idk what else it could be but the shock has water in it instead of oil because it is broke and leaked and filled up with water that is higly unlikely never hear of it but possible.

How about rust inside that could be binding everything up? If you got water and road salt inside the shock that would be a problem.

that would take alot you would have to let is sit for alot longet than 5 days for that to happen to make a suspention prob i may be wrong maby alot of rust build up over time in the a arm that finaly seized i don't think the shock would tho.
