HERE is a video of my muffler. Power and torque seems to be identical to stock with 7 or 8 discs. I'm sure if you open up this muffler and add fuel that it will make more of a difference. I'm going to leave it with 7 discs in it, the noise level is not too bad with this setup.

colby,

There is a video posted on youtube from a guy with an 800 and HSP pipe. Do a search for it and you'll be able to check it out. Seems slightly loud but looks sharp for sure. Your power commander out to come in handy with that muffler.

Looking at that HSP video, there looks like about 1/2" clearance between his tail cap and that bumper he has. Since the Supertrapp is longer, there's no way it would fit without hitting the bumper, unless you ran it without the tail cap on.

hey sheepdog my exhaust is supposed to be here today... how did you remove the springs on the exhaust or what did you use? I have already installed the power commander and it is a pretty big difference

Do you have the Power Commander USB?

I used a spring puller like THIS one. I've had it for years and its very durable. Here's the LINK to the page if the other one didn't work. I'll try to put the pic in this reply as well.

The install is very straightforward. Good luck and I hope to hear a success story from you soon!

Yes I have the power commander usb with the 902 map which is for a air filter and a pipe it feeds it quite a bit of extra fuel! I am installing the uni air filter when I install the pipe it didnt come today so hopefully it will be here tommorrow!
