Will I regret doing this???

My '97 Xplorer 400 is bone stock, but I have to say I love the rolling response from the 2-stroke. My back tires are nearly bald and as such I can keep up with my friends who ride '05 and '06 Predator 500s and a 700 Raptor as long as we're in the woods. The bald rear tires let me powerslide the turns as easily as the race bikes. This is where I need the forum's experience. Will I regret putting a set of Super Swampers on the back in a +1" wider size (Front are brand new stock type tires)? Will they kill my ability to spin through the turns quickly? They claim to have less lateral grip than most tires but that would seem to only be the case when sliding sideways not SPINNING sideways. I have to buy new tires, but I like the way the bike handles in the woods (except for the occasional wet patch which REQUIRES 4WD to get through) so what do I do? I'm looking to RCR for their stage1 upgrade when I get the cash. Would I be able to spin it around as easily on new tires with the RCR improvement as I do now with bald tires?

i think u would regret. Super Swampers have way too much grip. Its a 4x4 tire. instead of sliding you'll be digging into the ground. Unless its really muddy. Here in Louisiana we have pretty boggy swamps and sloppy mud holes. Swampers, Swamper Vampires or Mud Bitch tires are beast here. As far as a sliding through the trails or donuts are concerned a good cross country or trail tire would be better if you dont have too sloppy of mud theret. I remember when i had my Wolverine with swampers i was trying to do some really aggressive cuttin up in the woods but the tires were too aggressive of a pattern and ended up digging in and bouncing around rather than just a smooth slide. Once i put my GNCC Holeshot tires my sliding and cornering was like a sport quad.

you would definitely regret this my friend. my dad raced gncc for 4 years, and out of those four years the only race he used them in was the black water 100. i wanted them for my bike but he said he was getting ridd of them because they tear up everything (which i didnt think was a bad thing) and that they are so big you would lose some power from your quad.
