i have a 06' sportsman 500 efi, and the awd isn't working right. even though it is in 2wd the front wheels kick in when the rear start to spin, so i don't even have 2wd it stays in awd all the time. polaris tells me it supposed to do that, but it didn't do that the first year i had it. i don't think the dealership knows how to fix it. has anybody else had this problem?

 

welcome to the forum. alot of time the roller cage breaks in the front end causing it to lock in when its not atually in awd or sometimes the one wheel will kick in when not expecting it too. does the speedo say its in 2x4 no icon saying in awd right?
