why are the throttles on sleds even with the hand grip, but on quads the throttle is below the grip?? i only have used the ones on quads so i dont know what the sled ones are like to use.
does anybody have a preferance as to which one is easier to use?? one has less fatigue??
thanks

later

It depends where you like to position them on the bar,I can not tell them apart myself.

I don't know much about the Snowmobile type grip (got no snow here), but I do find the regular ATV style thumb throttle in its default position gets a bit tiring on a long ride. I have considered getting a thumb extender but wonder if there may be something better out there. I don't want a twist throttle either for safety reasons. Has anyone tried modifying a throttle from a Personal Watercraft to an ATV. It seems like it would be the cat's meow. It is part of the actual grip you don't even use your thumb to activate it. It actually looks like you use the space between your thumb and forefinger to accelerate.

Just a thought,

This beats working!
