so wayout reading your signature, im assumimg your talking about the efi 500 now?? either the ebs bushing is bad, the clutches are out of alignment, or the bike is idled to high(not in your case if its at 1200 rpm). i have had a belt actually shrink once where it was too tight and made it creep.

thanks, yea i'm talking about the 500efi,it's done it since i've own it,i have about 500 miles on it now,it's also hard to get in gear from low to high,it makes a sqealing noise all the time,a low pitch sound, and also it seems to vibarate more than it should, time to go to the shop i guess,thanks......

what makes a atv creep when you put it gear,my idle is about 1200,so it's ok......</end quote></div>
The only thing to make it creep is the belt out of alignment!
Check your front engine mount if its not broke check the clutch alignment. My 500 had a busted engine mount and started to creep. Just take the belt cover off and look into the front pulley and make sure the belt is centered in the pulley.
If your mount is busted NAPA sells a replacement mount that is a lot stronger!
