Rick, why do you have to use exclamation points like you're yelling? I know that this is your style but it makes it seem like you're pissed off. We do appreciate your knowledge, just trying to make it so your point isn't taken the wrong way.

The picture was taken from an angle so it might just "appear" that its touching on one side and not the other.

From the service manual. Like Stendori suggested, seems like you should check the EBS bushing to make sure that isn't the culprit before you go any further.

EBS - ONE-WAY CLUTCH INSPECTION (DRIVE CLUTCH)

Rotate one-way clutch clockwise (as viewed from the cover plate side). The clutch should rotate on the shaft with only slight amount of drag. Verify there is no binding or rough spots. When rotated counterclockwise, the clutch should lock to the shaft without slipping. If problems are noted in either direction, continue with disassembly.

Default Clutch Questions

Hey guys. Sorry I didnt call rick. I am pretty new to the site. Just figured out that we have private messages. I am at work right now. I will be home about 7 pm my time 8 your time. Any chance it would work to give you a call then? I am thinking this might be out of my league to fix. I like trying to learn how to fix stuff, but never messed with a clutch before. Probably dont have the right tools. I do have a haynes manual, but it is general for about 50 different wheelers, so pictures are not specific. Rick let me know if you will be around later tonight. Thanks again for all your input guys. Just signed up a couple days ago. This site is great.

Tony

In this pic it looks to me like the bushing on the outer cover may have come out and is not allowing the clutch to disengage completely.

After checking out the pics better I can see it jammed closed some, probably the center bushing. Only 600 miles it shouldn't be worn, but I do see a lot of corrosion there, maybe just rusted stuck. Creeping? I'd say more like stuck in gear, how would you shift it like this?
