Default 01 Sportsman Charging Problem

My quad shows 12.4 volts at the battery, basically not charging so I went thru the steps of checking the stator as per the book, I got readings , but they don't tell you how far off they can be, I'll post my results, can anyone tell me if the stator is OK?
Exciter coil- book 460 ohm, got 435
book 3.2 ohm, got 1.6
Charge Coil- book .13, got .1 but if I leave it connected, my meter jumps to 0 back to .1, to .2 , don't know if thats normal

Trigger- book 97, got 97.6

Anyone know if this is good or bad??

so w/ your bike reveing up you only get 12.4? does it tell you how to chech the recifier if its working correctly? this is what controls the amount of volage that the charging system puts out. just a thought.

They basically tell you to do the tests I've shown, then as a process of elimination if all testing is good, change the regulator, as the book sais.
