I guess the next thing to check for sure is the spark. You said you did that. Did you see a spark or hear it?

this may sound stupid, but did the fuel shutoff get turned off some how?

also, did the kill switch on the handle bars get switched off? If this is the case you shouldn't have spark, but I'd check everything at this point!

how about draining the carb in case theres water in it .its simple to do there is a screw near the bottom of the carb.

i have the 06 hawkeye. what is the airbox mod and the jetting mod? if it WASNT jetted correctly, what should it act like? im at 0 elevation in FL and it tops out at 50mph.

your fine, the airbox mod was a different way to adjust the carb by drlling holes in the air box and plugging them with rubber plugs, then removing them one at a time to adjust air flow. the dealers were supposed to have this choice or rejetting the carb which is more involved

Actually, no. As mini noted this was an easy way for the dealer or you the customer to dial in a slightly misjetted carb...it also works well for owners that ride in varying elevations...many owners do take exception to drilling 6- 3/4" holes in the top of their air box though, especially if you tend to take your Hawkeye swimming in the deeps!
