just wonderin if you fixed the no start problem. I have a 98 300 explorer 2 cycle with no spark. Am in need of help. Have replaced the cdi unit and the rectifier. Am now lost without a wiring diagram to know what wires to test. Please help.

if all the carb and air filter is fine, then its gotta be the boot for your spark plug. it happened to me once too, but i have a 90cc, i was riding along at 30 and then it just shut off, when i turned it back on, it went five, i looked in the boot and on the inside, the metal thing that grabs it was partialy broken, so i just got a new boot and was fine after that.

If your sure that it has no spark, I would work my way backwards from the spark plug, try a new plug first then check the plug wire and so on...this is the least expensive way to go about it...the process of elimination...eliminating the cheapest/obvious parts first
