Thats odd according to this site the Recons has a higher M.S.R.P. than Ozarks.

Recon vs Ozark.

For what its worth the Ozark has a bigger engine, carb, gas tank, is lighter has higher ground clearance, suspention travel and disk brakes up front "at least" all for $200 less!

But i,m sure a little boy would not know those difference running around the house on them.

Thanks for all the comments. With it being a toss up I asked my youngest and he said he wanted the Recon. Oddly enough when I was looking up some specs I found they appear to be dropping the Sawtooth for 2008, or maybe they have so many 07's in-stock they are not advertising the 08s, but they are not listed on their website.

I think the 200 Phoenix replaced the Sawtooth Same ATV with different plastics and no racks.

The Phoenix and Sawtooth were the same machines underneath, just different plastics. My guess is the Phoenix outsells the Utility style Sawtooth so its been dropped but the Phoenix continues.

My wife has an 05 Phoenix which I bought for short money. I fixed a few things and she really likes it but for a kid, I'd go with the Honda hands down.....it will stand up much better in the long term. The Phoenix is OK but it doesn't appear to be the sturdiest machine.....transmission engagement is wonky..... plastic fit and finish could be better also.

Default Recon vs. Sawtooth

Deal is done, picked up an 07 Recon this afternoon. Found a Honda dealer that didn't BS me and didn't charge setup fees.
