side fenders don't fit tight, seat almost seems to be out of adjustment. i have heard heating the plastic helps. i also cracked the bottom tab slot on left rear side removing the side panel. it is still under warranty, will polaris cover this?

any input would be appreciated.

On my TBlazer, where the front and rear fenders meet under the seat, were kinda "bulged out", I guess. The seat got a small tear from the front fenders being pushed out. On mine, there was a small metal tab that the fender screwed too, and I just pushed real hard on the fender till the tab bent in. It looks a lot better now. I'm not sure how your plastic is secured, but if it doesn't have any bendable tabs, then heating the plastic should do the trick. Just don't melt it!!!

my expedition as well as my magnum before didnt have great fitting plastic, nor do any of my riding buddies machines(polaris) have good fit..the side skirts that clip to the frt fender and the rear is the worst..honestly it doesnt bother any of of us bad enough to even deal with it so,it doesnt look that bad..try loosening it up at all points where it connects to the frame and try to move it around..good luck

You Polaris owners arent the only ones with this problem. It seems I have it too on my Hondas. After removing the plasitcs and putting them back multiple times, nothing fits together like it used to.

Make sure all the bolts & screws are in. My Xpedition was missing 2 of them. The front plastic didn't seem right, & when I took it apart I found a couple of missing screws.

My Xped side panels dont fit exactly right but it has never bothered me to the point that I would try to fix it. I read somewhere that you can adjust a little by the gas tank where the plastic bolts there, I think you would need to pull the plastic down at that point to get the side panels to fit better.

Another tip...
Get your quad as muddy as possible and no one will notice that poor-fitting plastic!

Just be a little patient when removing any panels. They will come out with some effort. The panels have to be tight or they will fall out on the trail. {try a hair dryer on low heat and from a distance[ 12 inches ] away from the panel.
This is common in most brands of atvs.
