I started this weekend to try to fix my creeping issue. I looked at the drive clutch to see if the washers are worn but haven't got the pouller yet to actually pull the clutch. The belt is remaining in contact with the inner clutch sleave which is causing the creeping. The one way clutch the belt rides on has some play (side to side) in it. So I an assuming the washer between the one way clutch and inner sleave is worn therefore the belt is staying too close to the inner sleave and remaining in contact. Should there be any play at all in the one way clutch? Does this sound like I am on the right track? I just got my clutch back togather. I replaced both washers and both bushings. No play in the one way clutch on mine.

 

Thanks! I am going to order new washers and hopefully the play will be gone along with the creep.
