Default miner problems

I bought a sportsman 800 brand new last summer on thursday. I went out riding on Saturday and submurssed the stupid the thing in water. Only thing showing was the handle bars. It only had 3.7 hours and like 30km. Luckily I noticed I was going under and killed the engine before going under. I towed it out drained what ever water I could out of it, towed it back to camp and flushed all the fluids 4-5 times each.

Because of this everything runs fine only thing is that I can start it whenever I want, every gear without hand brake on. (Don't care about this actually prefer it this way) I have about 25 hours on it now and about 220km or so. And my brake lights are always on, any ideas on how to fix this?

What year is it? Sounds like there is something up with the sensor for the brake lights. May also control the starting in gear.

welll it will be limited to the hand brake as the rear foot brake has no brake light. thats weird how getting the sensor wet woud do that. does the brakes work normal still?

Are you sure they're your brake lights and not just the rear running lights....The rear running lights are always on as long as the key is turned on..

If you are having miner proplems stay away from UMWA meetings.......................I couldnt resist that
there is a sensor either at the master cylinder or follow the brake lines to a junction box.Probbly need to replace the switch.
I had a similar problem on the boys Warrior the other day
