as long as when you put it in gear it doesn't creep or it isn't hard to put in gear the idle is fine.

 

Yea, I have the power back and no cut outs or spikes in RPM's. Shifts in gear great, HIGH and REVERSE nice get'up and go.
FYI, I don't need the choke out to start her, starts right up! Wheew Hoo!

thats good 2 hear mine scrambler wasn't runnign to good before and i cleaned the carb and never used the choke all winter plowing what a difference a clean carb makes.

 

hey big R, glad you got it and running. i would drop the rpm's down to 1150 so when in the warmer weather it tends to idle higher a little and no chance of it creeping or hard shifting. i guess next year you better put a strong gas stablizer in the fuel when you store it as im suprised that it went bad that quick. happy trails my friend.

 

Glad to hear its got life again. As humans we tend to complicate things. When trouble developes, sit back and read my signature line, its not that far from reality.
