Default Struts for 00 Expedition

My 2000 425 Expedition has a lot I mean a lot of sag in the front and need new struts. I havn't taken them apart but do I need the whole new assembly (hub and all) or can the spring come off and just replace the shock??

You can replace the springs and shocks, the sag is the springs, not the shocks.

You can only used the 6.7" travel springs which are 04 and older. In 05 the suspension was moved up to 8.2" of travel. Sounds like all you need is springs and the heavy duties are a good choice. I bought a set from a 04 sp700 because the 700 come stock with HD springs while the 500s did not.

Your link has the taller 05 and up springs so I,m not sure if they work on the older suspension.

I replaced all of my 2000 Sportsman springs and shocks/struts with 2003 700s, but if I were doing it again I would save some cash and order just springs from:
