Default FRONT CVD

just wanting to find out the best way to get the roll pin holding the axle in on a xplorer 400 looks like it could be a pain in the rear

roll pins are a pain sometimes. just get a matching size punch to hammmer it out with. maybe a little penetracting oil if its been in there awhile.

We use a long tapered punch from the front of the quad to get the pin started - gives some swinging room... then, once the pin starts moving, use a short 1/4" pin punch (worse comes to worse, a 1/4" bolt will do too) to finish driving the pin out.

When you go to put the axle back on, start the pin in the yoke's hole first, then use a 1/4" bolt on the "open hole" side to help line up with the hole in the shaft, rotate the shaft where you can get a hammer to it and drive the pin back in.
