FRONT CVD
#3
We use a long tapered punch from the front of the quad to get the pin started - gives some swinging room... then, once the pin starts moving, use a short 1/4" pin punch (worse comes to worse, a 1/4" bolt will do too) to finish driving the pin out.
When you go to put the axle back on, start the pin in the yoke's hole first, then use a 1/4" bolt on the "open hole" side to help line up with the hole in the shaft, rotate the shaft where you can get a hammer to it and drive the pin back in.
