Found out a sp800 will float
Out playing around this afternoon going throgh swamps that still had a frozen bottom. Got to an open pond and figured would not be that deep so went in and you get to a point where there is no backing up cause you think it is not going to be that deep. Well it was!! Maybe 150' across started getting that bobbing feeling lost most momentum. About stopped but kept inching along maybe the 27" mudlites helped but finally got a bit if traction again. Did get water in the belt housing though so had to dry it out when got to land again. Was all ready to start swimming. That was an Ufda. Not something that I really want to try again though.

Please everyone, don't take this the wrong way, but I simply can't understand why you would take such an expensive item and intentionally submerge it.
I guess if you *had* to get from point A to B and there were no other alternatives, but just for the he11 of it?
I watched a bunch of YouTube vids the other night where guys were doing all sorts of stupid things in deep water with their 7 and 800's. Just plain beating the crap out them. Made me cringe.
To each their own, maybe at 40 I'm just getting too old to understand.

Hobbles: I did not know it would either.
Moose: Rekon i am only a quarter Norwegian, gramma is full. But hearing it for almost 50 years gets ingrained & it sounds cool.
Sheep: don't know how to water wheelie yet but hopefully will not have to learn.
Oil: Believe me it was not intentional. I am 40+ also & do like to mud as well as ride fast & play. With the spring thaw there is plenty of it. Each person has their own thoughts on "fun". I know there are others on our rides that will do about anything to avoid a puddle in the trail. No offense taken.
