Thunderdaddy,
My wife and I have matching '00 TBosses and have taken them up to Silver Lake three times so far. You will most certainly not be the fastest there!! However they are adequate for the majority of the hills except "Test Hill". I've only made it up once in the center and that was in early summer after it had rained. The best way to get around is FULL THROTTLE! I usually air down the tires till they're pretty mushy. I don't think from what I've read that they have enough power to spin paddles very well. Next trip I'm going to try swapping side to side; theory being, the chevrons in reverse will act like a mini paddle. Who knows?!! All in all we still have a blast every time we go!!!
Gren25, They are a great beginners quad. They're our first ones and have served us well. I'm ready to move up a bit, but my wife is still happy with hers. Only drawback is they are not very modifiable like the Trailblazer. Of course, then you get into the whole 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke argument. We have had zero problems with ours and I frequently jump and abuse mine.
Hope I've helped!!
