96 explorer 300 front is turning sharp and fast while driving not abrake

Default 96 explorer 300 front is turning sharp and fast while driving not abrake

i bought this quad the other weekend and it worked great. I now have a problem the front is turning it feels like the 4x4 is engaging when it is in2wheel it does not do it all the time but when i gas it it will kick to the left hard. the chain in the rear is normal when it is working fine then when it kicks it is very tight. when i jake it up the back and the left tire the side it goes to when this happens are turning. please help

maybe that hub is locking up on it. try changing the hub fluid on both.

Changing the Hub fluid is the quickest, easiest thing to try. If this does fix the problem, then I would say the key words are "but when I gas on it" - probably means the garter spring on the Hillard clutch in that hub is weak, allowing centrifugal force to kick the rollers out on hard acceleration.
