Default Moose today!

I remember that Snopes said the moose being used to haul out lumber was a hoax. There was a moose up in Vermont that fell in love with a cow in a pasture. I was in the area and found my way over. Sure enough there was this young male moose hanging out in a cow pasture. The Vermonter who owned the cow was making a fortune selling souvenirs. I still have a T-shirt that I bought. Doesn't fit anymore though.

The white one looks a lot like a horse.
The next pic makes me wonder what Moose Henden looks like on his quad.
I read the thing on Snopes last year about the other pic. http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/workmoose.asp

Yes, it's always better to have them behind the ATV than in front. Here's one I put a stop to its sexual preoccupations a few years back with the bow. I know wrong brand of ATV but Popo at that time would not have pulled it .

The white one is indeed a moose. Here are a couple more pics. I believe the logging moose picture is a hoax.

That is an albino moose. Probably won't last for more than a year or two unless it lives in snow country. I'll try to get a picture of me on my quad for your enjoyment, Jumbo.

I posted a pic of me on my X2 out on a frozen beaver pond from a couple years ago. I was pretty frozen. It was about 20 degrees and we were racing each other. 20 degrees doesn't feel nice when you get up around 50 mph.

Hey, a moose on a quad! You have to be careful riding on/in beaver ponds. I was playing in one several summers ago and got a nail stuck in my tire. I still can't get over that. A nail in a beaver pond, as if they build with nails. Albino deer and moose are protected in many states. The predators can pick them off easy but hunters can't.

I was thinking the same thing when we were in Yellowstone in 2004. Man, what nice looking bulls. I thought it was pretty funny to see a guy about 10 feet from a bull elk and trying to get the bull to lift it's head up for a pic. He started rattling dry branches. It's amazing the elk didn't take him for another bull and gore him. It was cold enough and it was probably almost rut season. A week later when we were down in Utah we read about a guy getting gored by an elk in Yellowstone.

I seem to recall an old saying about playing with a bull and getting the horns.
Some people deserve whatever happens to them.
