Default Clutch Kit Question for the 800

I just ordered 28's / 2 inch lift and was wondering where is the best place to buy a clutch kit online? I read that when you install bigger tires this will help bring back the stock HP. Also, is this kit hard to install?

Default Clutch Kit Question for the 800

Is it a easy install or going to be a difficult one?

Default Clutch Kit Question for the 800

I have the Dalton clutch kits on both of my sportsmans and would highly recommend them. As for install, I had my dealer do it. This is the way I looked at it......it is my understanding that the tools required to perform the install cost about $120. My dealer charges $75/hour and this is a 1 hour job (or less, he installed both for $130). I figure this is a one time deal, until everything wears out. It's not like you have to change them out every 50 hours or something. So, you may be paying more for the tools than the labor to have it done, unless you have access to the tools, then it would be a different story. There is a youtube video showing the install process and it did not look difficult.

Default Clutch Kit Question for the 800

it dosnt really take any special tools. as far as the primary clutch take center bolt out and 6 cover bolts out to install the weights and spring. secondary should come right off w/ the one bolt and i think a set of snap ring pliers to take off the helix. i havent taken my apart yet but have been told it might take 2 people to put it back together from the spring pressure. i agree its worth the money on dalton products. imo.
