Default new guy that needs chain/sprocket help

hello, new guy here and i have a 03 250 trailblazer; im going to replace the chain and sprockets and i was wondering what options i have. i use the bike for trailriding and have been known to carry a passenger from time to time. is polaris parts going to be the best bet and would the 400 chain be any different than what im currently using? thanks

I've never heard of a 400 chain. lowest ove seen is 420. 400 is pretty low. 420's are for about 80cc engines. you need at least a 520. I have a parts unlimited 520h on my warrior. its been good so far.

for anything above 350cc go with a 520 chain. a 420 has tensile strength of about 4000lbs and a 520 has about 6500lbs of strength if I remember right.

yeah, get an o-ring chain. they last longer. just be sure to clean it off good after it gets dirty and get some chain lube made for o-ring chains. I get the champion chain lube at walmart. about $4 a can and it lasts for about 3 rides, lubing up mine and 2 others that belong to my friends.
