some thing gett stuck in one of the jets? like dirt or some thing clogging it maybe just mi 2cents worth

Im with trailblazermudrunner advice sounds like something is stuck in the jets.

did it die in the water? if so i'm guessing that water backflowed in through the muffler and into your oil.

try draining the bowl in the carb. it might have water in it.

did try draining the carb.
yes it did die in the water. could water in the oil cause it not to run right?
will check to see if there is a drain on the muffler.

i would think more about water in the gas or muffler or a fouled plug but idk about the fouled plug when you go to rev it up doesit backfire smoke? bog? rev limiter sound? does it sound muffled like maby water in teh muffler?

my friend just called me and said there was some kind of intake or vent hose clogged with water. don't know why it didn't drain out when we lifted it vertically up a tree. hopefully that was it, as it was something simple.
