Hey guys, i have a question, does anyone know if the 86 trailboss had reverse? was it on all of them?

Mine did. It was a lever located on the right side of the gear box. Black **** that is pulled out and raised or lowered. Mine did "advertise" both electric start and reverse right on the writing on the seat I think so maybe some models did not have it. Check for a lever on the gear box near the rear disc brake.

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]I just picked up a 1986 trail boss to try and rebuild.As thoratv stated they do, mine has a lever on the right side mid way between the floor board and the seat. It gives you 3 options forward, nuetral, and revrse.
