scrambler 500 4x4 question

i was filling my hubs today,i noticed that if i take the plastic cap off the end of the hub all of the fluid will leak out,is this normal or should it be sealed.

DUH.......those plastic caps have orings that hold the oil in.

You will also notice the engine oil will spill out if you split the cank case.

You fill the hubs by taking out the set screw. Better yet have someone else do it. Someone who knows how to check the level.
