IMO 489s are one of the most under-rated tires ever. They're better than almost any non-Polaris ATVs stock tires and great on dirt trails. Whenever someone talks about trail tires I ask how they compare to 489s. They will also do a lot better in mud and snow than most people give them credit for. I went places with my stock Trailblazer that most other 2-wheel drives, other than Scramblers/Sports, would get stuck.
