Going to inspect a Polaris Sportsman 90 for my neighbor and just need to know what to look for as far as common problems, etc...

Never even rode a Polaris before (Honda and Kawi guy), so everything is new to me.

One thing he may want to know is that it's not really a Polaris. I know Eton or Aeon was providing quads 90cc and under to Polaris for a while. Now both are pretty reputable companies out of Taiwan, but it can be misleading thinking you're buying an actual Polaris product.

Looking at the rear end shot, it looks exactly like the 2004 Aeon/Alphasport I have at the house.

One good thing on these, they have really beefy frames compared to the China counterparts.

Bad thing on them is they tend to fetch a higher resale price.

Generally good motors, better since they went to manual chokes instead of electric. Biggest complaint is starting after sitting for a while or in cold weather even with choke. Shown customers easiest way to start if this happens is to block air intake tube with thumb to block air and increase fuel to start!
