Default Broke buddys bike help

Thankfully I was about 5 minutes from home, the walk up the hill i was on would not have been fun with a dead wheeler anyways I need help.

It wasn;t my bike and after I got it back and put gas in it it wouldn't start, I couldn't see the choke on it, so when I tried to start it I hit the gas a few times, then I pulled the rope twice real quick and it came loose, and the electric start wouldn't even make the bike turn over. Although after about 5 minutes it started to turn over then did same thing again.

I don't know much about the mechanics of 4 wheelers, so if someone could offer some advice I would appriciate it, I am hoping I just flooded the engine and that the rope will fix quickly. Also I assumed maybe I didnt put enough gas in so I went into buddys garage and checked and assumed I had gas but what I put in waqs mixed maybe 500ml is all before I realized any problems with that?

Welcome to the forums Mirack.

What brand and size quad are we talking about? I can move the thread over to an area it would probably get more views.

Ok, I'm gonna move this over to the Polaris section. You should get quite a few answer over there.

you never said what happened in the first place?

You ripped the pullstart rope out? or it just didnt recoil?

did you make sure it had oil in the oil tank before driving?
maybe you siezed it

May want to pull the plug. The extra oil wouldn't hurt the motor, but could foul the plug.

When you say the electric start wouldn't work, did it just click? Checking the battery may be another place to look.

I just went out there and it will start to turn over, I know it is something to do with the fuel, or battery.
The recoil will go back in but it has no resistance when pulling it.

Like I said now I have let it sit over night and tried pumping the choke and it will start to turn over just wont start.
