My 08 800 does not do that, I tried it. I shuts down unless the accessory has a battery strong enough to run the ignition system.
Sorry HO but thats not the way it is on my buddies 700 as I stated above whith quad running, and air pump (w/out a battery) plugged in and running you can turn the machine off and take the key out and the bike will continue to run.
