To add to the topic, I think most have taken-in the belt buckle a notch or two. I know that I have.

We are at about $3.69/gallon in this part of NY State.

Default Anyone thinking of getting out of ATVs

I havent throwed in the towel but I just dont ride much anymore.I cant afford to drive/haul to ridding areas unless someone goes along to split the gas.

Still cheaper than Snowmobiling here in Canada...........Also cheaper than a few people with habits I know.............Ex....Drinking,Smoking,Slots,loca l and long haul racing,etc......Good Family time for me the wife and Daughter......................Can't put a price on that........Caper..........

Default Anyone thinking of getting out of ATVs

I have been getting more seat time on my Harley this yr than the past few.Also my son turned 16 and dont have time or it aint cool to ride with dad.

Yes...I hear you........My daughter is only 9 year old...........My time will soon come when she wants to be with her friends instead...........Like this week-ends Rally in Mattawa,Ontario Canada........She is staying at a friends house............................Starting already!!!..........Sob.....Sob.....I need a tissue please...........Caper.......

im sad to say the wife and i only went riding 4 short trips this year. hardly worth having them. oh well at least their paid for while their sitting there.

I only got to ride 2 times. That sux! I think I have
had 4-5 trips planned that failed. I still need my own
land where I can ride. I would take these puppies out
several times a week. If all goes well I will be riding
this weekend. I do like fall weather!

Default Anyone thinking of getting out of ATVs

I've still only gotten to go on an actual trail ride once this year. I've just been too busy on the weekends and alot of the other weekends have been raining up here. I've probably put more seat time in using the quads for firewood and other chores. Looking forward to taking a ride on Columbus Day if the weather is nice.
