'98 335 Sportman, sputters in reverse

I'm not sure about the sportsman but my two quads from that era have a rev limiter in reverse. There should be an "override" button on the left bar to bypass the limiter. That same button also allows you to back up in 4WD so be careful when backing up a hill,,, ha ha ha.

yea since it'll go just as fast just about backwards, you need the over ride button pushed for full power AS WELL AS FOR AWD IN REVERSE just so you wont find out the hard way the awd doesnt work w/out pushing the override(yellow button) while in reverse. it'll work fine for going forward w/out pushing the overrride.
