Default Trailblazer starting issues

My trailblazer has a new battery with a good charge. When I try to crank it, it doesn't do anything. It will crank with the rope. The lights don't dim or anything when trying to crank with key. Someone told me it sounds like the starter relay went out. It worked fine, then I had it on a battery tender for a couple of days, I pulled it off the tender and it wouldn't crank. Any help is appreciated.

if your 100% sure the battery is good w/ a full charge, then check connections. trace to see if power going to the solnoide. if so w/ the key turned on jump the 2 big post and see if it turns over the starter and if so then the solnoide is bad. if nothing happens check to see if power is going to the starter when the button is pushed. if so then the start will have an issue. also make sure the kill switch isnt the problem stopping the power going thru. just a couple of idears.

battery is setting at 12.6 VDC. I have power at the solnoide, so I shorted the two posts and it started. So I would assume the solnoide is bad, but before I order one, is there anything between the key and the solnoide that could be bad?
