Hey with the new EPS, what about when these machines get under water and MUD, would you
lose steering, LOL? Another technology but maybe whole new area of problems.

If I were a mudder I might want to get the non EPS model. Since I ride a lot of technical trails and a lot of not so technical trails, I will be going for the one with EPS.

I agree w/you cc1999. I too don't ride mud and the extra weight of this 850 may be best to get the EPS option. Time will tell if there is a 850 in my very near future, like mid-spring '09. I will be reading all of the 1st buyers reviews & other Testing before I make a change & jump ship from Kawasaki.

Well, I ride in quite a bit of mud and I'll probably get the EPS model. If there is any sort of flaw in it I'll find it.

I'd hope Polaris would be smart enough to thoroughly waterproof the unit.
