2002 sp700 fluid change
#1
I was at my local Polaris dealer and told them I wanted to change all the fluids in my 2002 sportsman 700. They sold me, among other things, the Pure Polaris Maintenance Kit (pn 2859062). Here is a link Pure Polaris. None of the fluids in the kit match up the the fluids in my manual by name or part number and the instructions inside are for a sp400/500. Are these okay to use? I don't want to be ****, but I also don't want to screw up my tranny and gear cases.

The only thing I would watch for is the tranny fluid because the 400/500 tranny are "tranny and rear diff all in one" while the 700 has a separate tranny and rear diff conected by a drive shaft.
Also the "Pure Polaris Demand Drive Fluid" has two types, one is for the older hub fluid set ups and there is another kind for the current front diff set ups.

The thing that is really throwing me off here is that there is no application guide anywhere. The only thing I found on one dealer's site is a disclaimer that says it won't work on twin piston models, but Polaris doesn't make any specification. My question at this point is are the lubes different enough to cause damage?
