Default 2007 Sportsman 500 EFI, Won't Idle.....

I did get a signed off title, but was it black with a glacier plow? Sorry about the stolen bike I should ahve said that first. Part of me wishes that was the case the way it's running (or not running) at this point I'm sorry I didn't just spend $2000 more and bought a new one. I really don't think this is it but let me know more details if you think it's the one.

For anyone that might be curious about my problems just got it back from dealer and he changed the map sensor and adjusted the throttle cable. Everything so far is working great.

Default You are 100% correct!

There should be an idle speed set screw you can adjust on the throtle body. If it still has a problem the dealer needs to "re-boot" the computer on it. They call it re-flashing the ECU. On carb models the idle speed adjustment is on the carb.
Adjusted the gap on the throttle stop safety switch and it solved my problem. Where can I find the correct adjustment for the throtle stop and this safety switch gap, I was just guessing.
Thanks, Gary

Mine did that and it was the throttle adjustment. Try it if that doesn't work make sure ur spark plug boot is all the way on
