Yea, I went ahead and replaced both of them. The big one looked brand new and was only stretch about 1/4 of a link. the sliding Gears looked very good, no wear in them. I have had this bike since it was new and has around 8000 miles on it, This is the first major replacement of anything. only thing changed on it has been Tires, starter, air filter and oil. :-). Still have the original Spark plug.
Again thanks

8000 miles on an atv is like 50,000 on a car!! Do you commute to work on it? DO YOU even own a car? GOOD LUCK If it dies tomorrow, give it a DECENT burial! You've got you moneys worth!

I have a friend in West Virginia who had a Sportsman 500 and he put over 23000 miles on hes. But of course he rode it everywhere, because you can ride on the road there with out getting messed with.
SPD,
I have about 1500 on my 07 SP800, and still have Labor day and Trail Fest at the Hatefield McCoy to go yet before the summer is over.
