I've thought about things worse than that but know I would get caught and I don't like jail.

 

I did not read all the post so this may have been said. I cut the OEM one I got with the unit with a roofing knife that I just kept heating with a torch. If you look real close you will see a outline on the back of the cover for the cut out and it just took time (about 1 Hr) with the hot knife. There is 2 sizes to pick from the smaller is for the 2500 and the larger outline is for the 3000 or 3500. I cut for my 3500.
